Description:
PICTURES.
This car is basically a barn find. Bought it from a guy that has owned the car since 1991. He bought it off lease with 17K miles. It has sat in a garage undriven for the last 5 years. Anyway, I picked this thing up with grand intentions, turbo conversion, stand alone bla bla bla, but that's just not realistic. We recently had another baby and I'm finding it hard to find time to do much of anything lately.
The car has 159k miles on it. Black with tan leather interior, sunroof, power windows, power heated memory seats etc. The car appears to be bone stock minus a set of H&R springs. Transmission shifts smoothly and makes no noise. Engine runs strong. I just hung a custom fabricated exhaust under the car. It's got a very nice tone, slightly louder than stock. Nothing too loud, I can't stand noisy exhaust. The A/C does not blow cold and the cruise does not work. I have an R134A conversion kit I bought for the car that goes along with it as well as a couple transmission mounts that I bought on closeout a while back. Other than that, I believe everything is in working condition. I've only put about 500 miles on the car since I bought it and it lives inside my garage. Oh, I put a set of brand new Blizzak Revo-1 tires on it about 100 miles ago (not pictured), but the fronts rub the inner plastics a little if you hit a big enough dip. I went with a tire that was a little bigger than what came
off and probably shouldn't have.. It had 205/50-16 originally and I put 215/55-16 on it.
Body is in good shape for it's age with only 1 very small rust spot on the driver's fender down low. There is a small dent on the passenger side front fender and the front bumper cover on the passenger side looks like it needs a clip replaced or something. Usual rock chips and scuffs, but again, nothing excessive or abnormal in any way.
Not sure what else I can tell you about the car. Oh, I've got an original Bentley shop manual that goes with the car as well as a clean Autocheck car history report that I can share with interested parties.
I'm located about an hour north of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Price is $4200 or reasonable offer. This is a great car for any Audi enthusiast.
