NO PICTURES.

I might be parting out my 4000s 2wd turbo and looking to see if anyone would be looking for anything of value off it.  Has 82~83 long gearing coupe tranny with updated flanges. kh head with mc cam. 2.1l bottom however cyl no 4 has 125 ish compression while all others have 140  or more, new pistons and new rigns but not too sure may need to pass the stones from earlier pistons slight melt in no 4, looked ok when i did it... Guess not, not going back in there to find out, car smokes if idled half gas for a while smokes dies out, less than 20 miles on it hood popped and broke windshield...+ more that was it for me.

Good 4000s trunks (3 times) some good doors some gold some  blue from attic, full set of tail lights. Flowmaster twintip str8   full exhaust for 4000s the muffler is kinda rusted but a quick blast and should look new again.  Big parts local pickup only. Let me know what you'd want off it.  Otherwise keeping clips + sensors + alu flywheel + efi rest going to scrap and pressed. 
Also have a bunch of extra parts laying around. 5000cd climate control, instrument, climate ecu, 5000 turbo oil cooler no lines. 5000 mirrors
5000 & 4000s steering col. Mc head good cond no cam. Have a few other n/a hydro heads.  Bunch of other stuff too just way too much. "Might" let go of early coupe gt full grill and headlights + assy if price is right. Also got a impeccable Gti recaro seat ( like urq and early coupe gt ) from early golf gti passenger side only, 4000s blue seats clean. 5000s grey seats clean but electric so pretty heavy. Like i said lotsa stuff to get rid of.let me know.
