Description:
NO PICTURES.

1990 CQ with 156,000 miles for sale. Purchased in June, 2007. The engine and tranny are strong and the car is running very well- have been driving it to work lately (12 miles one way) and occasionally take it up to the local mountains (150 miles RT). I bought the car from a fellow in Colorado. Previously, it was based in Utah, but I don't know for how long.

Red w/ gray interior, heated seats.

Work performed to date:

Replaced entire cooling system (both radiators, hoses, thermostat, etc.).
All hoses, filters, plugs, fluids, etc. replaced.
Bought a set of used Cabriolet wheels and had them refinished. New hi-performance all-season tires (Bridgestone Potenza, I believe). Still have original Speedlines, which would be nice for mounting snow tires.
Bought a set of H&P (?) sport springs along with Bilstien sports struts, but never installed those.
New exhaust from catalytic converter to tailpipe.
New rotors (Brembo) and brake pads (EMU...? those green pads).
New brake pressure accumulator (aka "bomb").
Both front axles and boots recently replaced (one by me). Euro front bumper installed. There's a clip or something missing, but that is fixable. I also have a rear Euro bumper that is not installed.
I also installed a set of dual lamp head lights. These lights were designed as replacements for the Audi and give it a cooler look, IMO. I still have the original headlights.
New Alpine stereo with CD and new speakers.
New battery.
Previous owner claimed the the injectors were upgraded to 034 Motorsports model, but I have no receipts for this and haven't inspected the injectors, myself.
Momo steering wheel- better driveability and more leg room. Have original wheel.
Car passed CA smog in July, 2007 and has about 4000 miles on it since then.
Comes with roof rack, bra and cover. I also have a Yakima Rocket Box that I can throw into the deal.

Work to be done:
The paint is faded, although wax/buff brings back the color for a couple of months.
There is a plastic piece at the bottom of the windshield that broke and that allowed water into passenger compartment during the recent rains. Water has dried out and I sealed the crack with silicone sealer and duct tape (I love duct tape!). The entire plastic piece should be replaced.
There are a couple of rust spots, but car is otherwise rust-free.
Driver's seat bolster has a tear. The whole seat seat ought to be re-upholstered.
There is what appears to be a cigarette burn-hole on the rear seat. I was told by a car upholstery shop that the hole is patchable.
There's a clip broken on the rear hatch lock that prevents one from opening the hatch from the outside- you need to crawl into the trunk from the inside to activate the latch. This broke just recently and I haven't looked for a replacement clip yet.
The blower (for A/C and heat) must be replaced. It works fine, but the bearings are going so it makes a racket while on.

Price is negotiable.

I'll post a picture later this evening. Will send multiple pics to interested parties.
