I am selling a 2001 S4 drivetrain that I transplanted completely into a 1998 avant body.  It has a fully running  2.7tt engine with tiptronic transmission.  The entire front and rear suspension are from the S4 as well.  I built this car in 2003.  It was my wife's car until a tree branch fell on the roof of the car two weeks ago.  The drivetrain has now 65,000 miles on it.  We never had a problem with the car.  The front suspension arms were all replaced about about a year ago, and the front brakes also.  The car was in good shape.  Except for the roof damage, which is extensive, the car runs and lot-drives.  The sale will include, engine, intercoolers, turbos, complete exhaust, ac compressor and lines, radiator, ecu, transmission ecu, wiring harness, steering column and a steering wheel (may not be an S4 steering wheel), complete suspension, S4 replica wheels (not in the best of shapes - were from my other car), gas tank and fuel pump.  It will not include, among other things,
seats, interior, doors, bumpers, skirts, lights, grille, fenders, wiper motor, non-drivetrain reservoirs, instrument panel, dash, climate control, mats, door panels, seatbelts, and other non-drivetrain parts.  In other words, if it does not make the car run or drive, it will not be included in the sale.  When you get the car, you will be able to start it up with a key and lot-drive it in your garage, but a seat will not be included.  The tires hold air, but are not in good condition - I took the tires for my other car.  If you need to arrange shipping, I will cooperate as reasonably necessary. Since the shell is a 1998 A4, the title you will receive is for a 1998 A4.  However, I will give you a copy of the title of the vehicle that I used to transplant into the 1998 A4.  I had to turn in the original S4 title to the Department of Motor Vehicles when I built the car.  This was not a hacked-up conversion.  We loved the car, but mother nature had other plans for us.
