Offered for sale is a pair of 85 4000 Quattro's - I have decided to get out of the 4000Q business and just concentrate on my 2 CGT's and the new 5000CSQT so I am putting my 2 1985 4000S Quattro's up for sale. Selling as a package. One is a parts car which was running when parked and the other is a rare example of a 4000 with no sunroof with a very clean interior, lowered and tinted.
Here's the rundown on the running car. Starts every time but idles rough, the front diff is partially engaged, reverse is iffy depending on how the diff acts that day. Brakes are marginal but the hard lines are new. Small fuel leak at the pump/filter. Lights and power windows work drivers window switch is alittle finicky. Back doors do not open. Heated seats option don't remember if they work. Aftermarket radiator fairly new. Currently has Firestone snow tires in decent shape. Very clean grey and black interior. Car is crusty on the bottom side but the parts car is ready to give with a motor and tranny that has only 40K on the rebuild. The AC is disabled. Glass is good on both cars. Spotty rust all around. Together these will make one very nice 4000.
