1984 Audi 4000.  It has VAG's VERY reliable 1.8L 4 banger, a 5 speed transmission, and FWD. 30-35 MPG, depending on your driving habits.  Rare 2 door model sedan (a 4000 coupe, really), it's red/gray with a sunroof, and the clean, classic design still looks contemporary.  Newish tires (less than 10K on 'emon BBS basketweave style wheels, lots of recent work including front brakes, strut mounts, A/C compressor, cooling system hoses, and much more.  This car came to So Cal from the PAC Northwest a couple of years ago, and is in outstanding mechanical and cosmetic condition, despite having a little over 200K miles on the odometer.  This is a NICE car!  Jump in it, drive it anywhere!  A downsizing change in lifestyle forces us to turn this one loose.
