PICTURES.

1981 Audi 4000 5+5.  VERY RARE car!  The Coupe GT was the successor to this car, with a drastically different look.  The body is a bit rough, cause it's been sitting outside for years.  Tan over tan and brown, it has the bulletproof Audi 5 cylinder engine, a 5 speed manual tranny (with a NEW clutch) and FWD.  Minor body repairs have been done to the LF corner, and I have all the pieces to put it back together.  The PO's neighbor let a trailer roll into it.   Needs tires to be driven other than around the block, but it passes emissions testing here in CA and it drives well. 
I've never tried the A/C, but I wouldn't bet on its cooling ability after all these years.  I'm approaching retirement, and I don't need all the cool projects anymore, so it has to go.  I think it's on a non-op, for you California people who may be interested.  I'm asking a grand, but I'm a motivated seller, and won't turn away any reasonable offers.  My number is (805) 886-0434.
