This is a brake master cylinder reservoir from a'90-'94 V8 that has an offset opening.  This will allow you to add the strut tower brace from '92-'97 Ur-S Cars to a '86-'90 5k/100/200 model, will not work with '91 200 20v.  This upgrade is outlined in quattro123.com.
