This 1986 Audi Quattro is in very good condition for it's age. It starts right up all year round, idles nicely no matter what the temperature, and the all wheel drive with locking differentials will get you through almost any snow that you'll see in this area of the Northeast. My father owned the car for about 15 years and I've had it for about 4 years. We have had many Audi's and VW's growing up and this one was by far the favorite and also the longest one kept. My daughter will be driving this summer and sadly wants nothing to do with this car, she wants something a little newer and more modern even though I think the styling is timeless. I still drive this car to work 3 or 4 days a week and it has never let me down. The car is a 5 speed manual, has 158,500 miles, all power windows work, sunroof works, door handles work, power mirrors work, differentials work. The AC does not work and I really have never looked into what's wrong with it. I have replaced the control arm bushings,
transmission bushings including rear center, rear wheel bearings, all four struts, water pump, and other normal maintenance items in the last 2 years. I also have the original oem silver wheels for this car. My father had the car repainted at Maaco about 10 years ago and it has faded badly on the hood, roof, and trunk. There is some minor surface rust that is starting to show up but the body is in pretty good shape for it's age.
