Description:
NO PICTURES.

1990 Audi Coupe Quattro. Black on black. $4,200.00 o.b.o. trade for Audi/VW wagon and may entertain Audi/VW sedan trades too. The good: RS2 headlights with HID’s, S2 turn signals and fogs, S2 bumpers, B4 hood conversion, H&R springs with new boge struts, all new control arm bushings, ball joints, engine/trans mounts, 034 injector upgrade, s2 steering wheel, aftermarket (Kameii? I think) center elbow rest, new windshield, new hatch truts and guides, slotted and drilled rotors, new mirrors, recent (less than 5K ago) timing belt, water pump, thermostat, senders, etc. 17” aftermarket alloys with good rubber and it comes with the original (ugly but straight) Speedlines with studded snows. I’ll even throw in the Coupe specific Thule rack feet with bars (I won’t include the attachments though) I drove this car from Denver, Colorado to Boise, Idaho and have driven from Boise to Seattle and back several times and it performs very, very well. Windows, sunroof and seat heaters work. I
use it as my winter commuter/ ski car and it is fantastic in the snow.
I have enough projects as it is and I don’t have the time or resources to do this car justice and I’m only selling it to get a wagon really. I’ll list the bad now. I bought the car on VWVortex a few years back and it has a salvage title due to the fact that the driver’s side door and front fender were hit before I got it. No frame damage, just panel damage. The P/O replaced the fender and repaired the door panel poorly. (I do have a perfect door for it, in pearl white, with the jamb already painted black. I had planned on putting it on and repainting the whole car this summer). The A/C works but has a leak so it won’t stay charged. I’m sure it’s just a line. The water temp light goes off but the car isn’t overheating. The fan wiring should be investigated also. There is one small tear in the d/s upper bolster that just showed up a few months ago. The wood paneling on the interior has a bit of crazing in the clear finish. I had planned on either refinishing or
replacing them. I painted the S2 bumpers and the hood black so they would match the rest of the car but the paint isn’t great. I did it as a stop gap until I got around to doing the body work and paint this summer. All in all this would be a great project car that can be driven daily and would be great with a minor amount of work.
Like I said above, I’m selling this to get something a little more practical, that isn’t a project (or too much of one), like a wagon. Let me know if you’re interested in trading or have an offer outright. I won’t be parting the car so please don’t request parts.
Pics forthcoming….
