This is the later C4 clockspring used for A6/S6 and B5 A4 models. Fits both 4 and 3 spoke wheels. The part # is 4D0 351 543 B.
The previous owner clipped off the two connectors that go under the steering column, possible to solder in new ones, your call. Price reflects this fact.
