Description:
NO PICTURES.

Tornado Red 1990 V8 139K, w/blk sport seats, second owner since 1996. Recent repais:complete German AutoConnection timing belt change, complete tune up with new plugs and plug wire set, serp. belt, new motor mounts, front lower control arms, camber arms, front outer tie rod ends, O2 sensor, rebuilt ZF PS pump, all new PS hoses and lines, CV boots, rear diff. seals, Boge front struts, viscous fan clutch, replace climate control head, airbag clock spring, headlight relay wiring, throttle cable. Dash trim, headliner and speedo replaced. I replaced the original Audi/Bose system with a Pioneer head unit (removeable faceplate) with a remote CD changer in the trunk, MTX 4 channel amp with MB Quart speakers nicely integrated so that it looks like the factory system and brand new battery. The Good: This car was serviced by the Audi dealer where it was bought with complete records including the UFO conversion. Since I purchase the car in 96, all servicing has been done by my local factory
trained Audi mechanic and since 05 itâs been serviced only by Bruce at German Autoconnection along with regular oil changes. The bad: needs tranny and driverâs and front passenger window regulator. However, I have both regulators I bought last year, but have not installed. (Windows have been closed) Also the front pass. side fender and front bumper need to be replaced and I have red color matching fender, front bumper , also needs tires. The car will drive in all gears at low speeds. Since the tranny started to go, the car has been in my garage and started up every week. The engine is very strong. The interior is in great shape and all seat heaters work. The head liner was replaced about 5 years ago and it looks great. After spending approx. $5,600 on repairing and restoring, Iâd planned to completely restore the car and keep for a long time, however tuition costs for four kids has taken priority. This car is (conservatively) 80% restored. NOTE: I took the pictures of the car more
a few years back after detailing and they DO NOT show the front fender and bumper damage. I wanted to show how great the car can look with the body work done and some detailing. At my asking price, I will throw in the complete three volume hard copy set of the V8 Service Manuals and two practically new fog lamps.
