The car has been meticulously maintained and needs no work. It should provide years of good service with minimal maintenance. All of the typical failures of the B5 Audi have been addressed in this car. The instrument cluster has been repaired so there are no dead pixels in the information display, and the Bosch 5.3 ABS brake module has been repaired. Both of these repairs carry lifetime warranties. Recent maintenance includes: 

Complete timing belt service performed less than 20k miles ago, replacing the timing belt, water pump, tensioner pulleys, thermostat, camshaft and crankshaft seals, and serpentine belt.  New OE-brand aluminum radiator.  New valve cover gaskets.  New front brakes rotors and pads, and updated splash shield kit from Audi installed to improve braking response in wet weather.  Brake fluid replaced 
Coolant replaced.  Oil changes performed religiously using only Mobil 1 synthetic oil and OE-brand oil filters.  Spark plugs.  Exhaust clamps.  PCV hose.  The car has fresh PA mechanical and emissions stickers, good through January of 2011.  I'm very confident you can find an A4 for less money than I'm asking. I'm in no rush to sell the car and am looking for serious offers only. This car is priced taking into consideration its condition and the maintenance that is already performed that the new owner won't have to worry about. The timing belt service is a key one. You're better off buying my car that has 172k miles on it and has the service done than buying one with 120k that has that big service bill looming. Buying a really cheap Audi is a bad idea. Better to spend the money up front to get a car that's been loved than buy a cheap one and have to spend money correcting all its faults.
