Description:
PICTURES.

With great regret I put up for sale my 1991 Audi 200, 5 cylinder 20v Turbo. I have owned this car for 2 years and have receipts dating back to the original owner. Those of you who know these cars can understand how remarkably comfortable and enjoyable they are to drive. My plan from the start was to find a nice, solid Audi 200 to modify. I've been planning to do suspension, bigger turbo, etc.. but I have too many projects and not enough time/money. Although the odometer reads 152,XXX, its not the original cluster. I believe it has a little over 200k, but most of the components (including engine and turbo) have been replaced and updated. Heat works like crazy, AC blows cold. Exhaust note is superb, not too loud but muscly. Car has great power and pulls hard through the revs. Consistently boosts 1.3 bar. Its quiet, smooth, and VERY comfortable to drive. Transmission feels solid and shifts smooth, with new Spec Stage 3 clutch recently installed.

Rare âTornado Redâ paint. Overall paint is in decent shape, a little faded in spots (hood, trunk). Body is remarkably straight with the exception of two very small dings on rear trunk lid (see pics). I have a nice, matching Tornado Red spare trunk lid that will be included in the sale (havenât gotten around to installing it). Car is in great shape for being almost 20 years old. In addition to the two small dings in trunk lid, there are a few rock chips (especially on front clip/hood) and small scratches in various spots.

This rare car has been very well maintained its whole life. I have a huge box of receipts dating back to the original owner. I absolutely love driving this car, it makes me sad to think about letting it go. Its an incredible winter snow car, especially with the locking differential that these cars came with. The only reason I'm selling is that I have 5 vehicles right now, including a recently purchased Stage-2 B5 S4. Anyway, here are the specifications of this lovely Audi 200.

Upgrades to the car:

-Dealer installed brand new motor and turbo approximately 100,000 miles ago. (Recent compression test showed 150 +/-1 across all 5 cylinders)
-3â downpipe+turbo back Stainless Steel Stromung Exhaust
-Joe Hoppen Motorsport Chip, good for approximately 300hp
-1.9 Bar WG spring
-European Headlights w/ PIAA bulbs ($1000)
-New Spec Stage 3 Clutch from 034 Motorsport
-Aluminum lightweight flywheel from 034 Motorsport
-Clutch, Flywheel and labor for install were almost $2000!
-2Bennett intercooler to intake Silicone boot (replacing stock hose that commonly ruptures)
-G60 Brake conversion
-Momo "Corse" Steering Wheel
-Illuminated S4 shift knob
-Sport seats
-17" Avus S4 Wheels (excellent condition) with Michelin Pilots (50% tread left)
-New OE brake pads and rotors w/in 100 miles
-Fresh brake bleed w/ OE Pentosin Fluid

-New Ball Joints

-New Pioneer 6x9 Speakers
-Pioneer amp mounted in trunk
-Short throw shift kit with Audi Sport âSâ backlit shift knob
-ABT Front Airdam extension and side skirts
-V8 Red Taillights
-034 Motorsport Bypass/Blow-off valve (Sounds like a ricocheting bullet!)
-Stock airbox removed and replaced with cone filter mounted to stock MAS (still have stock airbox)

Included in the sale are tons of spare parts and extras:
-All 3 Bentley Manuals included
-Custom car cover
-New OE Strut Mounts
-New spare Mintex brake pads
-Spare good working instrument cluster
-Spare turn signal/lights/indicators
-Tons of spare relays, etc...
-Spare Trunk lid
-Stock airbox
-Brand new OEM belts for Alternator, A/C Compressor and Power Steering included
-Spare Climate Control heater unit
-New OE Rear Subframe mounts, right/left

The Bad:

-Power locks just recently stopped working. Probably a relay or fuse but haven't investigated.
-Cruise control is inoperative and hasn't worked since I've owned it. Probably the vacuum pump?
-Heated seats inoperative, might need new switches?
-Rear brake caliper sticks occasionally
-This car is 20 years old so its going to have some issues from time to time.

I'm sure there are other things that I'm forgetting...
