Hey guys I just bought this car (less than 2 months ago) with the intention to use it as my daily driver for the winter, but the wife just got a killer job (5 minutes from the house) and I will start driving the A4 that she drove. The care is pretty clean, the engine runs very strong, it has 198K on the clock but the entire engine was rebuilt at 120K ($9000) Iâm the 3rd owner and the first owner left a huge pile of receipts (about 8 years worth) The car def had a lot of work performed. This Beauty has a RS2 Spec Turbo and RS2 Exhaust Manifold, also a custom exhaust system (no cats 1 resonator and 1 muffler) sounds amazing. It also has a Gretty Boost Gauge and Elcetron Boost Controller, and a full Samco Hose Kit. Car runs very strong, with full boost it pushes about 25PSI. Te body is in very good condition especially for the year, the front end has some rock chips and some tiny rust spots, but the rest of the car is in real good condition. Interior is very clean except the driver
side bolster is ripped up a bit (I was going to have it wrapped up but didnât get time) All the windows and seats work perfectly. Since buying the car I have replaced 2 ignition coils and 1 module, I changed the Brake Master Cylinder and the Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder. Also did a mini tune-up (Fuel Filter Cabin Filter, Air Filter Plugs and Calve Cover Gasket)i put 4 brand new All-Season Yokohama tires. Car starts right up and is a great daily driver. I also just did the front and rear shock and springs (Bilstein Sports+Weitec Springs) about 1.5" drop and rides smooth, I also added the OEM S6+ Grille and badges also added the brighter Dash Bulbs.
The bad the car came with no radio I installed a aftermarket unit but the speakers pop when you turn it one it might need an aftermarket AMP, the Turbo is perfect but when boosting makes a winy noise. Hold boost perfectly and I had the turbo tested and has ZERO Shaft play or smoke, one of the fins might be a bit chipped but no concern at all. The sunroof opens by its own from time to time so I took the fuse off since I didnât get time to diagnose the problem.
