PICTURES.

I have a 1995 Audi A6 Quattro Avant (wagon) in black with black interior and the bonus third row seat. It's been a great strong running car, with no accidents, and is just approaching 160K miles. We purchased it in 2004 at 110k miles from an Audi dealer mechanic in Portland. He did tons of preventative and replacement maintenance during the time he owned it.

Since we purchased it in 2004, I have also done quite a bit of maintenance (regular oil changes, etc) and replacement of parts to keep the vehicle in top running condition. I have an extensive file of receipts documenting the maintenance and replacement work done by myself and the prior owner. In the last year, the vehicle has had new tires and full brakes (pad/rotors) front and rear. The suspension was renewed about 3 years ago with new control arms, tie rod ends (front & rear), and prior to that new Bilstein shocks. I also replaced the stereo with a nice Alpine CD deck with an Ipod cable.

Current issues: it likely needs at least one or two front CV joints replaced, it's been rumbling for a bit, but otherwise still drives super strong. I've priced it appropriately as these vehicles with this year and mileage combination are retailing for $3k plus. The drivers seat doesn't recline at all, but it's in a comfortable driving position so I have not worried about it. All the other power seat functions work as expected.

It's 15 years old - so expect that the body will have faded paint, some minor dents, and scratches. The interior will have a few problems like scuffs and minor damage to the leather. But otherwise it's in great shape. Many people are amazed when I tell them the car is 15 years old.

We are the third owners of the car and it's been a wonderful transportation for the 6 years we've owned it. Love the all wheel drive for our rain and winter trips to the mountains.

Reason to sell - we upgraded new a newer VW wagon and can't keep a 3rd vehicle.

Price includes a full detail and cost to renew the tabs (due in August for Washington residents).

This would be a great project vehicle or for a good set of wheels for a high school or college student.
