Description:
NO PICTURES.

OK, here is the deal. My wife liked Audi V8s since her father bought a new one in 91and drove it a couple hundred thousand miles with no trouble. So about 4 years ago she saw one for sale thru a local broker and we bought it. Not counting the brokers, we are the 3rd owners. Had 115k miles on it when we got it, now has around 117k miles. My wife was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma about 9 months ago and passed away on June 4, 2010. Needless to say, we no longer need the Audi. I have my Durango and also an old Dodge Dart that I've restored.

The Audi was not driven in the winter by the first owner or by us. Can't vouch for the second owner since I've never been able to contact him. I doubt that its been in much winter weather though since its pretty clean on the under side. We've put brakes, timing belt with all idlers and tensioners, water pump, front seals, and o-rings/gaskets at the oil cooler block on the engine (it was leaking) and valve cover gaskets. Its also had the ignition switch replaced. All of this was done last year. Replaced the radiator surge tank about 3 months ago. I just put 4 new Goodyear Eagle GT V rated tires on it, all new shocks/struts all the way around, new tie-rod ends, and had it aligned. Clean carfax, no accidents or any other damage. Just passed Massachusetts inspection this month. Has an after market stereo and CD changer in it but I have the original ones that go with the car (and the radio code too). Power antenna works great too. Also included is a Dell laptop with 2 different Audi
manuals on it. I have a new IR remote key for it but have not programmed it. Also have the second key with the light in it.

Here is what I know is wrong with the car and since I'm not that well versed in Audis and don't have time, I haven't done any troubleshooting to figure out what the problems are. Cruise control does not work. Passengers front door window switch sometimes (most of the time now) doesn't work. Window works fine with the master on the driver's door. Since replacing the ignition switch and having the dash apart the dash vents don't work. Floor and defrost work fine as does the air. Will give you frost-bite on the feet!!! The banjo fitting on the hydrualic pump is weeping. Not a leak, no drip, just a dampness. The heat shield over the cats is loose and rattles under hard acceleration. This car drives like a dream. I'm asking $3900 for it and would rather it go to someone that knows and likes Audis rather than some idiot that would beat it to death with no concern for the history or value of the car. I can email pics to anyone thats interested except for the undercarriage since I don't
have acess to a rack. Its located at the address below and can be inspected any time. Just call or email to set up a time. Located in Leominster, Massachusetts.
