Description:
NO PICTURES.

I am selling my 1992 Audi S4. Tornado red on Ecru leather. 208k miles. With the 1992 goodies like trip computer, rear sway bar, ABS off, etc. The car runs excellent, idles great, engages all gears with plenty of life in the clutch. No leaks.

Mechanicals:
- (within last 500 miles) New head gasket, new valve cover gasket, some other gaskets, new breather hose to address small oil leak, new timing belt and serpentine belts, new crankshaft timing gear, and general tune-up including new air filter, oil and filter change, and spark plugs.
- (within last 15000 miles) Turbocharger professionally rebuilt, control arms replaced, new cam position sensor, timing position sensor, and mass airflow sensor. New oil cooler lines, new transmission and motor mounts. Replaced water pump and timing roller. New power steering pump, starter, and alternator. Replaced fuel pump and relay.
- I have also done a lot of peripheral work like replacing the bulbs in the instrument cluster, lubricating all the tracks for the power windows, clearing sunroof drains, and I addressed many electrical issues like fixing the keyless entry system and repairing the driverâs seat memory functionality.

Cosmetics:
- Repainted original red a couple of years ago and presents itself beautifully. Really a great color combination.
- Interior in good condition with no rips or tears. There are some cracks and fading but that will be remedied with a dye kit. The bolsters on the front Recaros are in excellent shape and the thicker leather used on the 1992 cars has held up much better on my newer â94.
- Replaced center section of tail lights because originals were cracked.
- New rear emblem
- Replacement Elm wood trim to change from cracked pieces in the interior.
- New shift knob

Modifications:
- European front bumper with correct Euro bumper mounts
- MTM Stage 1+ chipset
- Converted to Audiâs 1.8T coils that work great
- Bilstein shocks with factory â92 springs
- Dahlback blow-off valve
- 034 Motorsport shortshift kit
- Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors
- Samco hoses

What it needs:
- Heater core and blower motor. Heater core currently by-passed.
- Passengerâs side steering rack boot, slow Pentosin leak
- Re-dye the leather
- Headliner was re-done by monkeys before I bought the car. It doesnât look bad or sag but on close inspection youâd agree that the board should be covered again.
- Bleed the brakes
- Driverâs heated seat element stopped working
- Wear sensor for driverâs side brake pad is missing and tripping the AutoCheck light
- Thermostat should be replaced because it is opening too early

I have the parts to deal with these issues, including: steering rack, blower motor and heater core, leather dye kit for Ecru. Iâd even be happy to help you replace them if youâre local. I just do not have the space or the need for this car.

My price reflects what I have in the car and no profit on my part. If you donât want the part goodies, that price will go down and I am open to all offers. Please e-mail with questions. This car is available to anyone who is interested locally.
