Description:
PICTURES.
Against my hopes, it is time for our family to move out of our 1995.5 S6 Wagon (Avant). This has been in the family over 3 years, Colorado its entire 139k mile life, and was my fourth Audi - it will be missed. Here is the short of it:
ï¼ Black exterior - The paint isn't as perfect as it was new, although what CO car is of this age, as there are some rock chips in the front and around the bottom as well as a couple nicks and one small ding. However, but it shines very well, as you can see in the pictures and continues to be a great looking car. I have additional pictures to supply when requested. There are clear bras upfront to continue protecting the surface and I have routinely washed it to keep the car clean. All of the chrome shines and the wheels (original) have a great finish as well. There are no dints, areas of body damage, or middle to large scraps or scratches. Every exterior piece is still attached and working. As a CO car, there is not a single bit of rust anywhere. This is a very solid and clean exterior.
ï¼ Platinum interior - The interior is great as well though the typical bolster has worn (my beautiful but short wife did not help here) and there is a stain in the cargo area that cannot come out. Neither deter from the interior overall. I understand this color combination to be fairly rare and it is simply great, we were pleased to have found it and have loved it since. Everything inside is accounted for and works properly: all lights, all four heaters (rare to see all four working), the radio, CD player (with extra CD case), auto windows, side view mirrors (including the reverse feature for the passenger side mirror), and controls. All gauges and dash lights work; they were updated to 2w bulbs to aid in visibility.
ï¼ Mechanics â Again, everything works as it should. As with cars of this age, mechanics may need to be replaced. Anytime such items came to be, they were replaced. During our 35k miles of ownership, this included: sunroof rain tray (common), all struts, tie rods ends, control arms/camber adjusts, starter and ignition switch, clutch master and salve cylinders, and a few other smaller but normal wear items as should be expected. The file on this car is fairly thick. In fact, the file includes the original window sticker and every item addressed since! It should be noted this car is all original and has not been modified in any way. I would have liked to have it RS2âd, but that simply was not an option so the car was left stock.
This is a great S6 Wagon and it will suit a new family very well. We have done a great job keeping it in good and proper shape. Everything on the car looks good, works great, and is present. All electronics work as they should and the stock sound system sounds pretty good. It is rare to see a wagon is this shape, let alone a S6 or S4 with slightly lower miles such as this one. Please email me for more questions or pictures. Thanks!
