I'm starting to see if there's any interest in a complete AAN. This is still in my S6 and is my D.D. It's a Colorado car with 247K with lots of Highway miles.

The engine is super clean with not oxidation. It burns only around 1.25Qts between oil changes (4K) and I think most of it probably is the original turbo. The engine is run on a pretty tame Stage 1 chip and so it's never been run too hard. I've probably never revved it above 6K.

I haven't done a compression test but will do so eventually. I would venture to say that if someone really wanted a good engine for a project that this is the one. Leave it as is and maybe do a few gaskets if you want a solid motor. However if you want a super boost monster, at a low cost, I'd venture to say that with a hone, new rings and bearings along with maybe a light valve job you'd be on your way. The only reason I didn't go down this path is because I found a new crate engine and it allows me to perform a quick swap.

Within about about a month I plan on pulling it out along with the tranny to put in a whole new engine and 6speed. My goal is to do a weekend swap starting on a Friday and have it buttoned up by Sunday. I have some help from some real friends who know a thing or two about wrenching and have lots of C4 experience.

It would be great if someone here in CO would be interested and I could hoist it right into a truck bed. It'd also be good so that it could be test driven in advance of pulling it out.
