Hi
I am selling a European Model 1981 Audi (UR) Quattro ( The original Quattro)
The car was imported in 81 by a Chicago dealer and then sold in 83 to someone from Ludington , MI.
I have work records from 1983 till present.
In 1991 the owner took the car to âLight Performance Workâ where it received over $13k of maintenance, repairs and upgrades, at that time the car had 63000 Kilometers ( about 39375 miles), from 1991 till April 2000, the car was only driven 52K Kilometers ( about 33k miles) , after that it mostly sat in the ownerâs warehouse until he liquidated his business and the car went to an Audi lover in Saginaw, Mi. The new owner wanted to build the car as a Group 4 replica of the Quattro of the very early 80âs. He ordered from Europe the fender extensions, larger spoiler, found some period correct lights for the front, the interior was removed and redone with a more âRally lookâ one, added gauges, Corbeau racing seats and Simpson harnesses and a bolt in rear cage.
All the parts that were removed from the car will be included in the sale, they include the complete original interior, AC parts, original spoiler, headlightsâ¦â¦.
The car was signed ( the sunvisor) by rally legend John Buffum.
The car now has about 128K Kilometers ( about 80K Miles), runs very well, the clutch, turbo, hosesâ¦.were all replaced at 63K Kilometers.
After purchasing the car I had the timing belt service done and a few other maintenance items.
The car runs very well, it is 100% Euro specs, all gauges in Kilometers, euro bumpers, euro trunkâ¦
Suspension is H&R and Bilsteins, lug bolts replaced by studs and lug nuts. The car has the original Fuchs wheels, custom mud flapsâ¦.
There is no rust on the body, a couple minor spots in the trunk ( found in almost all URQs and coupe Gts)
The car was never in an accident, but it just came out of the body shop to have the windshield and hood replaced, that is what happen when you forget to reclose the hood pins ( now I have left the safety latch in place on the new hood)

Thank you
