Description:
The Good: This is an enthusiast-owned, Avant with the Ultra Sport package. I was the second owner, from 29K to 62K miles and for the last 3.5 years. These have been largely maintenance-free miles, with gas mileage averaging about 23 mpg around town. Synthetic oil changes every 5K. Never chipped or modified, so has lived a pretty gentle life. Interior is in great shape with no signs of button peeling. The front grill surrounds have been blacked out and the rear has been de-badged. Clean Carfax.
The Bad: There are some body dings and dents that were there when I purchased the car. I have used touch up paint over any areas where the paint is compromised. The worst area is under the license plate, where it is actually dented. See pictures for more clarity. I would prefer personal inspection by the buyer/buyers associate to ensure satisfaction of purchase. Original OEM USP wheels are included with the car-these have some curb rash from the previous owner; Black mesh wheels optional at $500.
This is a painful decision, but thinning the herd is a must with a new project underway and a recent project ready for DD duty. And my girlfriend decided she wanted an X5 instead of taking the A4 to replace her totaled XL7. Whats another marquee to maintain?
