I am putting this 97% stock rust-free urS4 up for sale in order to complete some other projects. This car just does not get driven very much and the funds could be used for something else. There just are not many of these around, especially in this type of unmolested condition. Being a 93 model, it has the coveted carbon fiber trim, in perfect, crack-free condition. The only modifications are a late 3 spoke steering wheel, clear corners, and 18in Audi B7 Titanium package wheels. Stock Fuchs can be bundled for additional money with the sale as well. This car runs great and is tight, at least for a urS car. The interior is in excellent condition (9/10) and the exterior is in great condition, with a few minor blemishes (8.5/10). I installed the CD changer from an optioned urS6, which works with the stock Bose system. Previous owner said the timing belt was done at 70K, but no receipts were available for verification. Visual inspection does not indicate any cracking, but after si

for 1+ years, it may not be a bad idea to have it done again regardless. YMMV.
In the interest of full disclosure, I purchased this earlier in the year (after sitting for 1+ years) with a stripped plug in #4 that I repaired with a threaded insert. I would consider the repair to be as strong as or better than the standard aluminum threads for the spark plugs. This is because the threads in the aluminum head are larger (more shear area) and the spark plug interface is a much more reliable steel/steel thread. After the repair, compression across all cylinders was in the neighborhood of 165 psi @ 0.85atm. The throw-out bearing groans a little bit sometimes and seems to be a result from sitting prior to my purchase. With more driving it has been getting better or goes away. Since owning the car, I have put about 2.5K miles on it, with a trouble-free round trip down to Las Vegas in October.
