I have an adjustable hood strut from a 94 Urs4. The Urs6 had a lot of cost cutting items compared to the Urs4 (plastic  intercoolers, plastic boost duct, etc.) and this is one thing they lost as well. I allows you to open the hood up a lot higher and work on the car easier without straining your back.
