1992 Audi UrS4 Quattro Sedan Brilliant Black with Ecru Leather

Description:
Up for sale is my fatherâs rare and desirable 1992 Audi UrS4 Quattro sedan in brilliant black with ecru leather. Iâm Selling it for him. At 80+ he just does not have the time to drive it like it wants too. The Ur prefix is shown because in German it represents the meaning of original or first created and so the term Original S4 was born. In the 1992 S4, this holds true to form, as it was first year these German-built vehicles were imported to the USA in very limited production quantities. The 1992 S4 is unique from the 93-94 because while it came fully equipped with luxury and performance features as standard, it also provided specific items and features that were only available on the 1992 S4 model â multi-function trip computer, digital boost gauge, rear sway bar, factory lowered suspension with stiffer springs, abs off switch, metal intercooler crossover pipe, âQuattroâ script for the rear window screen heating element. The S4 chassis is based on a first generation C-
4 body
on the Audi 100 Quattro body style and the 1992 S4 factory suspension provides a great compromise between a lowered look and good ground clearance and sporty ride. Besides the rarity factor of the UrS-car, itâ is an extremely comfortable and capable sport sedan with itâs 227bhp performance inspired 20 valve turbocharged five cylinder AAN engine lineage traced to the legendary Audi Sport Quattro rally car program.
With the exception of European clear corner markers, the car is factory stock with no body work, body rust, or performance modifications made in its 169k mile history. The engine starts, runs and pulls great and has no oil leaks or oil consumption issues.
The car has been maintained by Audi enthusiasts and is a very reliable daily driver (my dad is 3rd owner and I helped where I could) and comes with a fully documented and complete vehicle maintenance history record. The initial timing belt maintenance work was performed at 85k miles and again @ 162k miles. At that time the car received a complete service review and work was performed for the timing belt /water pump/thermostat, an A/C retrofit to R134, brakes/rotors replacement, front end/axel, and complete exhaust replacement.
The car is setup for winter driving with Blizzak snow tires mounted to stock Audi 15â Audi steel wheels. In addition, a set of (4) four 18âx8â RS4 Replica alloys with mounted Nitto tires @20% left (Recommend a full replacement set of tires be mounted) are included.
Interior: 7/10 - Interior is clean and the leather on the Recaro seats is in good shape without any rips. The seats are extremely comfortable and have held up well over the years. The dash does not have any cracking or fading, and all the elm wood trim is intact without any issues. Factory telephone was removed
NOTE: Several items like driverâs seat heater, side to side movement of drivers mirror donât seem to work well,
Factory Gamma Bose car stereo/ system seems to be on the fritz. I think the front amp/speaker is the cause. The auto check panel display has a small gremlin where its screen goes a little bonkers and makes some noise at start up. If this happens I just turn the car off quickly and restart and not problems!?.
Exterior: 5+/10 - The exterior needs attention. There are a few exposed spots showing up on the paint and areas where the clear coat has been removed. A bit of spyder-web cracking on the hood and trunk is found. Some paint flaking (chips) are on top of the roof line and wind shield area. The hood around the grill and front bumper are somewhat pitted, also the lower valence on the front of the car uses zipties for additional support (common problem, lower valence supports crack). The hood has a few dings, body seems to be free dents best I can tell, however the doors were scratched by mall vandals that did a few lines, but I have a paint stick from Audi to cover up. Front passenger side molding is starting to curl a bit, Next step would be to replacement if you want to.
Mechanicals: 8/10. â All Services Are Up To Date. They seem ok, did notice on cold days a bit of a whine in the front at highway speeds, but drives fine and no real knowledge of what it is other that maybe a wheel bearing, had both diffâs check and oil filled upl
Oil changed every 3,000 miles use full synthetics - Mobil 1.
