1992 Audi S4 for sale. Most likely a parts only car, buut it still drives fine.

Would make a great track car project or a good donor vehicle for somebody wanting to put the AAN engine (2.2T) into a smaller Audi for lots of fun. Overall, it has been the best car I have ever owned.

The Good: 227k mile drive train still runs awesome! No accidents that I am aware of â I have owned it for the last 13 years. Does not smoke or burn oil, transmission still shifts smooth and the clutch is still in great shape. Engine pulls HARD â still boosting to 24 psi with an aftermarket ECU chip with a VMAP 3.0 bar sensor. Rear diff with diff lock still works. I have taken it to the dragstrip on 2 occasions and it runs a 14.0 ¼ mile at sea level and a 14.7 at Bandimere. This is the â92 model so it has a stiffer suspension and a rear sway bar unlike the other models that can be cannibalized from this car and put into any 92-95.5 S4/S6 to give it a better stance and handling. This car also has upgraded Bilstein shocks put on about 50k miles ago. Being a â92 it also has the intercooler with steel endcaps as opposed to plastic and also has the metal crossover tube as opposed to plastic. All body panels, with the exception of the front bumper are straight and easily u
 sable,
a few minor dings on the drivers side doors which are easily pulled.

The Bad â why itâs most likely a parts only car: The paint is faded Tornado Red from 20+ years of Colorado sun, with some clearcoat peeling on the drivers door. The rubber molding pieces on the outside of the door are gone. The interior is rough. The dash is in very good shape, but the seats and the other panels suffer from a few years of neglect by a college student (my nephew) who only did upkeep on the drivetrain. The front bumper is pretty much toast from way too many times of pulling too far forward over parking curbs. It still looks ok from 50 feet away, but is not in good shape. The car needs new brake rotors and pads within the next 5k miles, it needs new tires desperately. It also has a coolant leak at the thermostat housing â a 1 hr fix with a gasket and some coolant and it needs a new brake pressure accumulator (aka the âBombâ). Donât get me wrong, the car is easily restorable, it would just cost way more than the car is worth.

I have all the records and will be completely honest with you on everything. My nephew finally graduated college and got a job so he got a newer car.
