Description:
PICTURES.
Although my Audi has been a wonderful cruiser its time for it to go to the next enthusiast. The car is in great shape and is a wonderful driving car. I got back from an 1,800 mile road trip last week and the car performed flawlessly, whether in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina or the rainy St. Louis weather we hit coming back - and we averaged almost 30mpg along the way.
The car has several upgrades, including Recaro S6 seats (very comfortable!), upgraded brakes, xenon headlights, and an Audi Sport steering wheel. I drive her mainly on the weekends or long trips so she spends a lot of time in the garage.
The previous owner was meticulous about maintenance (I have a folder full of receipts) but here are some of the highlights:
> New suspension @ 142k: 2Bennett springs, BlauSport shocks, strut mounts, perch bearings, rear LCA bushings, rear calipers/pads/rotors/cables.
> Trans flush & fluid @ 140k
> Full tune-up at 145k: plugs, wires, fuel filter, OEM battery.
> Timing belt at 151k using an ECS kit, water pump and cam sensor replaced. EGR cleaned.
> Heater core, blower motor, heater valve, vacuum hoses, and coolant hoses replaced at 165k.
Here is the work I have done:
> 195k: New cabin & air filter, spark plugs and wires
> 196k: Replaced EGR solenoid valve
> 197k: Replaced oil + filter (5w-40 synthetic). New ignition switch. New alternator. I also performed the modification to the valve cover breathers to reduce oil. Upgraded Bosch Gen IV fuel injectors were installed.
The car currently has 200k miles.
The car is siting on a set of 17" polished "fat fives" with summer tires. I also have a set of B7 RS4 wheels with snow tires I am including in the sale. This car is well optioned - Bose stereo with 6 cd changer and woofer, OEM carpet floor mats, Weathertech cargo liner, and rear sun shade. This wagon does have the rear-facing third row seat which my niece loves. This car comes with boxes and boxes of spare parts. I also have the full timing belt tool kit that will go with the car, and my Bentley repair manual still has one license left. I also have cross bars for the roof rails - I used them to transport my canoe down to the lake.
There are very few issues: there are some spots where the clearcoat is peeling. I was able to fix most of the oil leaks but she still needs a quart of oil every 4k miles. The check engine light does not come on when you turn the car on, but I have verified with a SCAN tool there are no codes set; I can show you there are no codes and that the readiness monitor in set (meaning I did not just clear the codes). Aside from those issues the car is in great condition and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
