Diagnosing charging problem

Okay listers,
Another repair question-
I'm trying to figure out why my battery keeps running down. This is the
second battery I've bought within 2 months and it's getting annoying. The
car has a new Bosch alternator, so that is not the problem. The alternator
light does not come on, so I believe the alternator is working properly.

I'm thinking that it must be the wire from the battery to the alternator.
Where exactly is the splice? How do I go about troubleshooting this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help- I will probably take this problem to my
mechanic, as I need this car running in top shape, as it is my daily driver.
