Well, I can't figure out what's going on. I pulled the caliper off
the car, and tried pushing the piston in, and ended up breaking the
tool in the process(plate shaped like a pad, with a screw in the
middle); tried rotating the piston, with no luck(and I don't see any
allen key hole; just two opposing V-shaped notches.)

I've also tried pushing the piston in with a C-clamp; no movement whatsoever.

To make matters worse, after my manipulations, the piston is now
leaking fluid in a slow drip-drip-drip. Right near the end, looks
like where the boot attaches to the end of the piston.

I suppose at this point I have nothing to loose from completely
removing it from the car, "benching" it and ripping it completely
apart; I wanted to avoid that, but it's either overhaul it or replace
it with a rebuilt, and either way, it's gotta come off...<sigh>.
