OK, OK. I've gotten enough replies...............:-)

While waiting for replies, I did a little research myself and looked for
used Audi's from the Audi USA web site and just entered in the '97 model
year and '98 model year and then looked at accompanying photos.

It's definitive, the sedan got the new design in '98, the Avant in '99.
