Fiend in trunk- 93 90csq

Been away for a few days or would have responded earlier to this..
I too have had the same (or close to) problem, except in my case I
couldn't lock the doors from the trunk last fall. Turned out to be
broken wires in near the trunk hinge.
Early this spring my rear fog lights came on and I couldn't shut them
off (thankfully they were only on when the car was started). Took it
into mechanic and they found that 'several' wires were broken in the
same area.
If you are looking, check them all.

I have experienced the same problem and discovered that it is simply
related
to a broken wire that passes along the hinge of the trunk. There is a
place
where the wire is more exposed to bending (at the middle of the hinge)
and
it is at that place that the wire broken (internally) and then make
erratic
electrical contact, leading to activation of the central locking. Try to
find the place where the wire is broken by probing it with your hand
(shakes
the wire).
Good lock
