Worn clutch or other problem?

My problem is the clutch seems to take a while to "hook-up"
on a quick, high rpm shift from 1st to 2nd. I haven't
noticed any slipping at any other time. I just assumed it
was time to replace the clutch, but then I was told the
usual symptom of a worn clutch is slipping under hard
acceleration in 4th or 5th.

The more I think about it, the more I am inclinded to
believe that the clutch is slipping because it is releasing
slowly. Maybe the mechanism is stiff? I bought the car a
few months ago, and it probably had been sitting around for
a year. The only driving I've done is to get it home, and
to go to emissions testing.

The car in question is an 86 4kq.
