Window Relay Clicking

I have 92 100 with an intermittent "Clicking" comes
from the Power Window Control Module in the drivers
footwell.  Sometimes the relay goes crazy, other times
it will work fine for months.  I have had problems
finding the cause and do not want to simply replace
module (~$300).  So far I have disconnected all the
window switches and circuit breaker (S43) when it is
acting up to no avail.  Recently my 93 came down with
the same problem.  I know that this is part of the fun
of owning an Audi (my third) but I need Help!  Reading
the archives suggest the Central Locking Module.
