Nothing on the threads.  The German books refer to an 'anti-corrosion
compound on the mating surfaces'.

Removing a Loctited harmonic balancer bolt is not fun.  You reach
torques that the engine mounts themselves don't like.  The record so
far is 550 lb ft.  At that sort of torque you really begin to worry
about doing permanent damage to the vehicle.
