How do I remove tree sap??

Try Wurth.  Primers, etc. at:  http://www.wurthwest.com/ppainpri.html

If you dig aroung the site, you'll probably also find sap stuff.  A friend 
of mine swears by Meguire's cleaner and eraser system for sap.

I didn't know CGT's were galvanized.
