'87 4kq Cutting Out

Howdy gang!

It seems that when I take a corner hard or when I take
off from a stop hard, my car will kind of cut out or
hesitate. It's only for about a second, but it makes
it a little hard to slide around a corner, when you
have no power! This problem seems to be getting worse,
but it could also be that I'm learning to drive my car
harder and harder. Thanks for any help!
