Recommendation, and questions

First, let me say, this list is great. I have learned a lot more than I have
contributed. Hopefully the balance of power will swing in my favor one of
these days. :-)

That said, I just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered some parts for
my A6 from Clair Auto Parts (link on my site). I ordered floor mats, a trunk
mat, and front and rear mud flaps. I'll have pictures of everything early
next week, assuming I get to the mud flap installation this weekend and the
back ordered trunk liner arrives.

The floor mats were expensive ($90), but well worth it. They're all weather
mats that are "clay-grey" colored. They are a perfect complement to a
melange interior, as the forthcoming pictures will show. They're incredibly
heavy duty, have the requisite Audi snaps to keep them in place, and they
even have A6 logos on them. :-)

The mud flaps are not "flexible rubber" but rather very thick molded plastic
that is designed specifically for the A6. Very nice job.

So, onto some questions.

Some of the modifications I'm thinking about doing include a short throw
shift kit and sportier suspension. I've had a few recommendations for the
UUC kit for the short throw shifter. Any BTDTs? Anybody have experience with
shock kits, especially with the A6?

I've owned the car for a whole... oh, 2 months now. It's still a love
affair. :)

Best regards,
Brad
