ABT Dash

The "ABT dash" is perhaps better called an instrument cluster extension pod,
which ABT offered for the urquattros years ago. It replaces the IC's cover
with a new piece which has space for 3 gauges to mount to the right of the
instrument cluster and sits on top of the dashboard. It looks really good
in the car IMO, and the gauges are quite visible.

The pods are NLA from any manufacturer, so it is pretty much "catch as catch
can" from people and cars in the marketplace. Due to the rarity of the
piece they tend to command a pretty high price when you find one. I find
this amusing since the part was actually made by VW/Audi to provide a place
to mount a taxicab's meter.

There are alternatives ... some folks have disabled the center outlets in
the upper part of the dash and mounted a couple gauges there. I have
mounted two standard VDO gauges in the diff lock panel down low on the
console by putting 2 cut-outs in a stock panel for the gauges. Others have
replaced this panel completely with the 3-gauge panel from a Coupe or 4k.
You can also get mounting binnacles from VDO that will mount to the top of
the dash.

HTH!
