Live traps with Peanut butter as bait.  Just be sure to take the critters a
good ways away from your property...

Alexander...I concur with Kneale.  I installed these items two years ago at
my
farm...I don't live there in the winter...and I have had a much lower
overwintering mouse population ever since.  Tom
