Thanks Brett, I like the style of your post. Maybe because of the
time you took in drafting it. It's thorough.

Ah so, I didn't mention it before, but my CC doesn't work.

I'll try the diagnosing that you described.

I think it may have "always" been there, in the short time that I've
been driving the car around. I'm only just starting to get familiar
with what normal and unusual. It seems like such a more familiar
car now, than it did with that first test drive when I bought it. I
remember the bomb was bad, and other various things. First
impressions can be so misleading, before you are familiar with the
car.

Yeah, I think it's Alan Gunn Leather A-something. I haven't yet
gotten to the point that I want to buy a new boot. Maybe I'll go
really cheap and fashion something from a cloth/textile or craft
store. Seems like a material "cone" would do fine for under a few
bucks. I just want to keep the french fries and stuff from falling
down in there. :-) When I decide more on what direction I will take
on the car, I'll do the right fix.

I still have to condition the leather seats in my 5kcstq.

I'm excited about my new 5kt fwd parts car, because I can actually
use more than just the motor. Too back it won't have a shift boot.

Thanks,

Ken
