anyone ever change inner cv boots on a 93 90 5spd ?? i
had to do the outers, cause one tore and i figured id
do the inners while i was there and i couldnt figure
out how to get them apart. the have like 3 big bearing
type things in there, not the ball bearings like the
outters or older 80's and 90's like im used to.

and i drained the gear oil and then found out there
was no easily accessable fill hole like ive seen
before. so i removed this thing on the pass. side that
looked like a fill hole, but it turned out to be
something that holds the shifter in place, and you
cant get the gear oil filler tube in there. then above
it there is another thing that looks like a fill hole
and its some kind of spring loaded thingy??? so i took
both plugs out and filled through the top hole untill
fluid camr out the bottom hole.and now the car shifts
like crap. could it be too thick of fluid ?? owners
man. says 75w 90 and i put 90w gear oil in it. that
shouldnt afect it that bad, should it?? it does get
better after the car warms up. i think it has
something to do with the plug that hold the shifter
but there was only one way to put the damn plug in.
anyone have any ideas or run into this before ??? all
i was trying to do was some maintanance on the damn
car. dont fix what aint broak, right ????
                                  thanks
                                  brian o'
