I've pined (er "watched") SQ pricing since way back in the mid 80's. Back
then (Beddor's purchase time), you could have one new in the box for 50, pick
your color. The speculators drove the pricing as high as 100 (1990), but now
you can have a fine example delivered world wide for 50 (negotiated).
IMResearch, more than 50, look for the mods done. Under, look for damage or
compromises done. The parts supply, btw, rivals some of the more recent
audis in availability, even those covetted 16x9's can still be had new. I
will add the parts caveat that *if you have to ask the price* you can't
afford it or the car.
I personally kinda like the Dialynx SQ clone approach, buys a lot of spare
parts, and it looks better with the windshield rake too.
