More Boost Good!

I was looking for more boost and ended up getting one of Charlie Smith's 
wastegate springs.  What a dramatic difference.  Boost went from 1.2/1.3 to 
1.7 bar, with an equally impressive improvement in performance (for an hour 
or so of fiddling).  My only concern is the grounding of the fuel pump relay 
that was necessary to disable the fuel pump cutout beyond 1.6 bar.  I'm 
aware of the safety implications of this and at some point I'm still going 
to do a chip upgrade, but in the short term a stiffer spring has been the 
best $20 I've spent on the car.
