Without competition history, asking is GBP35k and getting is GBP28k.

A competition car with a history - depends on the history.

Genuine S1s can fetch anything because of their extreme rarity.  A new
'genuine' S1 is actually being built at the moment.  A competition S1
might fetch GBP100k.  The most recent purchase I know of was by Audi
themselves, buying an Austrian car for their museum.
