squealing noise in engine bay

Mike, I had a similar problem. I think the noise could be due to air
leaking around rear main seal. While engine is running and making the
"squeal" noise loosen your oil fill cap briefly. If it is your rear main
seal the noise should cease. Rear main seal hardens and allows air to be
sucked in around shaft and seal, as engine crankcase is under vacuum. Fix
is new main seal, or a good stop leak, like CCD. Stop leak fixed my
problem, by softening seal and allowing it to hold against air pressure, and
after only hundred or so miles. Good luck.
