Broken timing belt

If the engine was spinning at the time of the belt breakage then yes,
it's likely the valves hit the pistons.  The V6 is an interference engine.

The V6 engine in the 93 90 should be interchangeable with that in the 93 100,
but the suspension bits aren't.
