3B engine problem

My 91 2ctq was acting like that shortly after I purchased it.  The engine 
would run fine until it was pushed hard (i.e., high boost) then it would 
miss, sputter and fall on its face.  After I repaired all the normal things 
that deteriorate -- hoses, gaskets, sensors, etc., etc., & I finally put a 
new set of spark plugs in it and everything was fine.  The "new" plugs 
installed by the previous owner were the triple electrode style and 
evidently, all 5 plugs would quit working when the boost was increased.  Its 
worth taking a look at.
