Another rear brake caliper question....

Ok, I picked up 2 used rear calipers off a '93-'95 Audi 100/A6 (C4, type
4A) and they look in pretty good condition. They'd better be at $104 for
the 2 used calipers, carriers and pads. These are getting cleaned
tonight and sprayed after which I will fit the new seals and dust boots.
I don't want this to happen again though, so what's the best protection
method for those guide pins and the hand brake mechanism? What grease to
use? What about something like copper compound anti-seize paste on the
pins? Would that help any if the guide pins boots tore at any point?
Lithium-based grease perhaps? What grease to use on the handbrake stuff
in the caliper? Just a normal multi-purpose grease packed in heavily?
Thanks. :)
