I consider the car sold to me, although I haven't even seen it.  The 
current owner is an enthusiast, having two other Audi's besides this 
one.  He also works at an Audi dealer, so there aren't as many 
excuses for not keeping things reasonably in repair.
 
Thanks for the input.  I will have my cellphone and AAA card.  I just 
have to remember to chill out on the stresses I induce, during the 6 
hour commute home.
