Brake Fluid

I found that the Castrol Syntec 5W-50 suffers thermal viscosity breakdown
in a simple 40 second Auto-X run in my 200Q. I had lifter tap after each
run. Went away after the car cooled, and the oil temp gauge never read
much above 85-90 degrees C. I can't imagine it'll hold up (viscosity
wise) on the track. I think the viscosity range is just too wide. Seems
okay during even spirited street driving though. Personally switched back
to Mobil 1.
